- Stand Alone

THE PURPOSE OF LIFE
The ultimate purpose of life is learn to stand alone. God creates every
living organism with the drive to stand alone. I was probably 10 years old when God had
blessed me with an unforgettable lesson:
While standing in my parents back yard, I heard something fall. It was a baby
bird that her parents were teaching how to fly. They had picked her back up and this time she was able to
fly alone.
To be successful in standing alone it is fundamentally crucial to have a
good support system. Without such, life wouldn't stand a chance. Everything would fall apart, for there
would be no proper balance.
For instance, even a strong and tall building needed a support system at the
early phase of the construction. Once the concrete gets hard and the builder realizes that the building can stand
alone, then he removes the support system.
Now, one of the biggest challenges that the living organism faces is to
stand fast when its support system is no longer available. Sooner or later it will happen, as
demonstrated by the bird's story above. Thus, the living organism is left alone, to stand alone.
Standing Alone, at first, can be very stressful. Remember the
very first job you had or the first time you rented your own apartment. It hurts to stand alone. However it
hurts even more when resisting this normal process of growing. It's like resisting God's call.
God does want you to evolve.
